WALK MS Fundraising Headquarters

The time and energy you dedicate to fundraising for Walk MS supports everyone in Wisconsin affected by MS. This online Fundraising Headquarters was created to make your efforts easier and add even more fun to all aspects of this phenomenal event.

Your Fundraising Makes a Difference
The National Multiple Sclerosis Society helps people affected by MS by funding cutting edge research, driving change through advocacy, facilitating professional education, and providing programs and services specifically designed to help those who have been diagnosed and their families move their lives forward.

Start Early
Fundraising is all about relationships. The greater the numbers of people involved in helping you reach your goal, the greater your success. Start by identifying your sphere of influence and invite everyone you know to help you reach your Walk MS goal. You efforts can be easier and more meaningful when you share with others the reasons why you walk and let them know how their donations will make a difference. Set a fundraising goal. Use the tools located here to support your efforts. Get creative. Form a team. Have fun! Remember, Walk MS is all about celebrating hope for a world free of MS. We’re getting closer. With your help, we’ll make it all the way.

Don’t forget to spread the word even further using your own Facebook, Twitter or other social media pages. Let people know what you’re planning, how you’re preparing and how they can help. Don’t be shy…give people the chance to surprise you with their generosity even if they only know you, well, “social”ly!

Personalize your Participant Center
Your own Participant Center is created for you as soon as you register, but you can make even better use of it by making sure it’s personalized. In fact, the National MS Society reports that the average Walk MS participant who uses their Participant Center raises five times more than those who don’t! Use yours to:

  • - Track donations and show others your progress with a built-in thermometer
  • - Choose from a variety of e-mails for family, friends and co-workers to help get them involved and encourage their donations
  • - Share your own story of how MS has affected you. This is your chance to raise awareness about the disease and motivate others to Join the Movement!
